Condition

The canvas is lined. There is a milky varnish preventing UV light from fully penetrating, and examination under UV reveals some lines of retouching to the right part of the sky and and a further area of retouching to the left part of the sky. There are some flecks of pigment losses to the extreme edges, associated with frame abrasion, and some craquelure visible, primarily to the sky. This work is in overall good condition.
