Condition

Oil on paper laid down on panel; the panel is sound. UV examination reveals retouching to a tear (approximately 1.5cm long) in the upper right quadrant and some further small spots of retouching to the upper part of the composition. There are two further thin lines of retouching to the lower part of the right edge and the upper part of the left edge. The colours are fresh and there are some lovely areas of impasto; this work is in overall good condition.
