Condition

The canvas is not lined. UV examination reveals a 3.5cm.-line and some scattered tiny pin-sized dots of retouching in the water, towards the centre of the left edge. There is further small area of faint fluorescence around the base of the tall boat at the left, which does not appear to be related to any retouching. There is some very minor frame abrasion along the extreme edges and an artist's pinhole in each of the four corners. This work is in overall good condition.
