Condition

The canvas is lined and the edges are reinforced with tape. UV examination reveals an area of retouching along the right of the upper edge and a further diagonal line which runs intermittently from the centre of the upper edge to the water at the right of the tree in the centre of the composition. The surface is richly textured. There are some thin surfaces scratches in the trees at centre right. This work is in overall good condition.
