Condition

The canvas is not lined. UV examination reveals a thin horizontal line of re-touching towards the upper centre (approx. 8cm. long) with some associated pigment loss. There is a small spot of retouching below the mask at the upper left and two further tiny spots to the lower right edge. There is some gentle canvas undulation at the upper centre due to the application of a label (Galerie Motte) on the reverse. There is a slightly yellowed varnish across the composition and this work could benefit from a light clean. This work is in overall good condition.
