Condition
The canvas is not lined. Examination under UV light reveals no evident signs of retouching. There is a small area of paint loss to the centre of the right edge and a further very minor area of paint loss to the pale purple pigment to the left of the figure. There is a small area of craquelure with associated pigment loss about 7cm to the right of the figures head. This work is in overall very good condition.
