Condition

The canvas is not lined. UV examination reveals a small area of retouching approx. 2cm. long to the centre of the field in the background. There is a small tear approx. 2cm. long to the centre of the river with some flecks of associated paint loss. There are some very fine lines of craquelure in places, predominantly to the blue pigment. This work is in overall good condition.
