Condition
The medium is pencil on paper laid down on card. The work is in good overall condition. The bottom edge of the sheet is uneven: as a result the left edge measures 8 1/2 in. and the right edge measures 8 3/8 in. The card is larger than the sheet, and measures 9 1/2 by 12 1/2 in. There is uneven discoloration from light exposure throughout the sheet, and some minor gentle mat stain to the upper edge. There are three tiny holes in the upper right quadrant, and a tiny accretion as well, the accretion about 1 in. from the upper right corner. There is possibly a very small repaired tear at the top of the right tree, barely visible to the naked eye. There is a small point of skinning in the lower left with some associated discoloration. There are a few minor flecks of foxing in the left margin. The media are strong and the work presents very well.
