Condition
The medium is oil on canvas. The canvas is not lined. The work is in good overall condition aside from a small surface scratch in the lower right, above the bottom visible edge, and an old patch a 2 inch square linen patch on the reverse with corresponding inpainting center right. There is another dime-sized spot of older inpainting with some slight discoloration around it visible to the naked eye, right of center in the sky (with corresponding glue patching verso). There are a few very small dots dots and dashes of likely older inpainting though this is not very visible due to the varnish which fluoresces green under UV. The whites have nice crisp impasto. The colors are clear and strong and work presents very well.
