Condition
The media are oil and resin on canvas. The work is in good condition. The center stretcher bar has broken. The canvas has some very minor rippling and is somewhat slack on the stretcher. There is a 4 in. square patch on the reverse, corresponding with a 3 to 4 in. horizontal line of retouching visible under UV in the upper right quadrant near the resin impasto. Also under UV: there is a small area of retouching in the upper left quadrant, several inches from the top edge, visible to the naked eye, and a small dash of inpainting at the center of the left edge. A signature "Lebenstein" is visible in the lower right corner under UV light. The varnish fluoresces light green and appears to be uneven. The work has excellent raised resin impasto elements and presents very well.
