Catalogue Note
With a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives.
The Ref. 3900 was made from 1985 for only about five years thereafter, and presented a mid-sized option for admirers of the Nautilus design. The present lot, in stainless steel and yellow gold, featuring diamond-set indexes and bezel, is a Ref. 3900/2, and our research suggests this is the first such example to be offered at auction.
