Automatic movement in working order when cataloging. Dial is nice and clean, in very good condition. Case is in good condition in general, no visible blemishes. Buckle with normal signs of wear. Overall in very good condition. Movement numbered 150. The son and grandson of watchmakers, Laurent Ferrier, is the emblematic figure of the brand that bears his name.  After completed the training course at the Geneva Watchmaking School, he began his watchmaking career by working in the movement prototype workshop of one of the most prestigious watch manufacturer – Patek Philippe.  As a passionate motor sports enthusiast, he also pursued a career as an amateur racing driver in parallel. In the 1979 24-hour Le Mans, he came in 3rd while driving a Kremer's second 935, after the famous Mr Paul Newman in Barbour's 935. 

After nearly 4 decades of working for the same firm, with his final position as a creative director, he decided to found his own brand dedicated to fine watchmaking. His first model was officially presented at Baselworld 2010. Making only a few hundred watches a year, to own a Laurent Ferrier is truly an exclusive and special experience.  Representing a subtle blend of traditions and contemporary techniques, the Galet Micro-Rotor features an understated dial concealing a concentrated blend of horological innovations, offering a whole new perspective of how we define luxury watches.
