Condition
The movement is running at time of cataloguing, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement. The dial is in a good condition. The case has most likely been polished and is showings of use as it has minor scratches and scuffs. Engraving on the case back; JJB III.

Ref. 483 was first launched in 1935 and produced for only a few years. The present lot is one of only three that have been on the market, as this particular reference is quite rare.
