Condition
The movement is not running at the time of cataloguing, chronograph not functional, the timepiece has not been tested for the accuracy of its time keeping and may need servicing at the buyers discretion. Please not Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
Dial and hands in good condition, relumed in the past. Case with scuffs and scratches throughout, bezel having lost the waxing to the tachymetre. markings to the lugs consistant with use with bracelet.

Catalogue Note
The reference 6265 was first introduced in 1970 and remained available until 1987. Its cousin, reference 6263, differs from reference 6265 with its black acrylic bezel with a white tachometer scale. They are the last manual winding chronographs produced by Rolex.
