Condition

The movement is running, chronograph and date in working condition at time of cataloguing. It may benefit from a service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement. The attractive dial in good condition, with some light marks and minor spots throughout due to normal aging. Some indexes slightly glowing under black light, the hands more glowing. The chronograph hand for the seconds possibly changed a long time ago. The plexiglass with some scuffs. The case in good condition, gently polished during a long time ago, with the inevitable scuffs and scratches throughout due to age and use. With an unsigned stainless steel bracelet, period but not original, circumference including the watch approx. 170 mm. Overall a very attractive iconic chronograph.
