• cal. 7750 automatic nickel lever movement, 27 jewels, mono-metallic balance • red and black dial, applied dagger indexes, outer Arabic minute track with 5th seconds division, four subsidiary dials for 30-minute register, 12-hour register, date and constant seconds • stainless steel case, engine-turned bezel, down-turned lugs, chronograph pushers to band at 2 and 4, split-second pusher to band at 10, snap-on sapphire crystal display back • case, dial, and movement signed • with a stainless steel Perrelet buckle
Condition
The movement is running at time of cataloguing, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement. The dial is in a very good condition and the case as well. The watch is overall in a very good condition.

Catalogue Note
The name Perrelet is associated with important horological inventions. To name but a few, Abraham-Louis Perrelet (1729-1826) developed the automatic movement in 1770. Louis-Frederic Perrelet (1781-1854) invented the split-seconds mechanism in 1827.
This unique piece pays tribute to the history of the Manufacture by combining both innovations.
The watch has an appealing sport identity thanks to the stainless steel case and the red dial, both signed Nº 1 at 6 o'clock.
