Condition

Please note that the movement has not been checked for timekeeping accuracy and Sotheby's will not be held responsible for any repairs should they be require. Movement running but hands not advancing while cataloguing. Dial looks nice condition, small damage to the centre, probably restored. Case and buckle polished with usual scuffs and dents due to use and age. Later buckle. Overall in good condition. Movement signed Cartier Paris. The enamel bezel is characteristic from the Art Deco period, some examples illustrated in Franco Cologni, Cartier La montre Tank, Icone du temps, 2012, p 81.
