• cal. 320 manual winding nickel plated lever movement, gyromax balance, 20 jewels • blue dial, gold baton hands • 18k yellow gold case and Patek Philippe bracelet comprised of matching panels with stylised bezels, each containing fragments of bornite surrounded by powdered gold • dial, case and movement signed
Condition
The movement is running at time of cataloguing, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
Dial with oxidation, hands in good condition. case with scuffs and scratches to the back as to be expected with age and use. some of the powdered gold to the bottom most panel has become loose within the panel itself leaving the base exposed.

Catalogue Note
Ref 4119 was launched in 1971 in yellow gold and in white gold. It belongs to a series of references made in the same style with matching bracelets to the case shape, some with golden nuggets, some with butterfly wings. Ref 4119 was made in a very small quantity due to the difficulty to set the plates with the butterfly wings.
