Le tableau apparaît dans un état de conservation relativement satisfaisant. Il a fait l'objet d'un réentoilage réalisé au milieu du XXe siècle, un peu fort, qui a un peu tassé la matière. Il a fait l'objet d'un nettoyage certainement à la même époque un peu fort qui a légèrement abrasé l'arrière-plan. La matière au niveau du visage et de la perruque est bien préservée. On remarque quelques petits points de restauration répartis dans le fond. On remarque plusieurs restaurations dans le drapé bleu au premier plan. A la lampe UV : On remarque un vernis vert uniforme ainsi que les restaurations précédemment signalées. The painting is in a correct overall condition. It has been recanvassed in the middle of the XXth century in a bit strong way. It has pressed the painted surface a little bit. It has been cleaned at the same period of time and the cleaning abraded the background. The painting on the face and on the wig is well preserved. We notice few small restorations in the background. We notice some small restorations in the blue drapery in the foreground. Under the UV light : The painting is under an uniform green varnish. We notice the restorations already highlighted.
