A l'oeil nu le tableau apparaît dans un état de conservation peu satisfaisant. Il a fait l'objet d'un réentoilage réalisé au milieu du XXe siècle et qui a écrasé la matière. Il a également fait l'objet d'un nettoyage fort qui a supprimé les glacis. On remarque des usures sur les fonds. A la lampe UV le tableau apparaît sous un vernis vert partiellement restauré au niveau des roses. On remarque des restaurations sur les fleurs roses. With the naked eye, the painting appears in a unsatisfactory condition. It has been recanvassed in the middle of the XXth century and it flatened a bit the painting surface. It has been cleaned in a strong way and it a bit dammaged the glazing. We see some lack of paintings in the background. Under the UV light the painting appears under a green varnish partly restored. We can see some restorations on the roses.
