Illustration is too bright. The color of the tortoiseshell is more even. Several splits on the cover as well as four pieces of tortoiseshell missing; one patched restoration. One airline crack around the escutcheon. Silvered metal and brass extensively tarnished. One metal plate lifting. Would benefit from a general restoration.
