Condition

Illustration is a little too reddish; timber has a darker and more beautiful tone. Good overall condition. Structure a little wobbly. Traces of restoration to the structure underneath the top. Scattered scratches, marks and dents throughout the different surfaces, consistent with age and handling. A few shrinkage cracks to the veneer below the top, visible on images. Nice gilt-bronze mounts, possibly regilt in places.
