Condition

Illustration is slightly too reddish. The mahogany timber is darker and more elegant. The commode is also actually wider than it looks on the picture. A few scratches and marks all throughout the surface, consistent with age and exposure. A few vertical shrinkage cracks on each side. Gilt-bronze are slightly tarnished and rubbed. Tiny edge chips on the marble top (not distracting). Very elegant piece of furniture.
