Condition

Oil on canvas. The canvas is not lined. The canvas is somewhat loose on the stretcher and there is some minor undulation to the canvas especially at the corners. There is minor frame abrasion visible at the extreme edges. The picture surface is in overall good condition with fresh bright colors. There are some scattered pinpoint losses to the impasto especially to the left of the subjects proper right eye and an additional loss in the sitters proper right lapel approximately 1 inch in length. Very minor craquelure in the more thickly painted areas. Under UV light, there is no retouching visible.
