Condition

Overall in very good condition. The surfaces presents with a few minor surface scratches, minor discolorations and minute abrasions consistent with age and gentle use. The function and streamlined aesthetic of this service makes it an iconic piece of modern design.

The present tea and coffee service has remained in the same family collection since its original acquisition in 1961 from the Hess Brother Department Store in Allentown, PA. The formal use and presentation of the service combined with its streamlined, space-age design aesthetic made this lot a centerpiece of the original owner's sophisticated modern interior.
