Condition
Overall in good condition. When viewed first-hand, the wood presents with a slightly less red hue than in the catalogue illustration, more of a honey hue. The wood surfaces have been sensitively refinished and present with a few surface scratches, minor abrasions and minor surface dirt to the recessed areas consistent with age and gentle use. The wood with some minor crazing consistent with natural ageing. The front of the feet with concentrated wear, consistent with use. The feet with a few restorations concentrated to the corners of the squared upper sections and to the front of one of the fingers of the proper left front foot. The squared upper part sections of the proper left front and back feet with minor edge losses, not visually distracting. The sofa has been reupholstered and the upholstery is in very good condition. A sculptural sofa with great presence hen viewed in person.
