Condition

Overall in very good condition. When viewed in person, the wood presents with a warm honey color with dynamic figuring. The wood surfaces have been sensitively refinished and present with a few light surface scratches and edge abrasions consistent with age and gentle use. The wood with a few stable and superficial age cracks consistent with the natural aging of the material. The proper left sphinx with a minor restoration to the back, only visible upon close inspection. The leather table top appears to be original and is in good condition with minor surface scratches and abrasions consistent with age and gentle use. A modern design that epitomizes Robsjohn-Gibbings’ aesthetic and thematic vision for the interior for the Casa Encantada.
