Overall in very good condition. When viewed in person, the patinated bronze surfaces display a dark green patina, with subtle hues of dark brown. The patinated surfaces with some occasional light surface scratches, rubbing to the patina, light oxidizing and minor surface soiling consistent with age and gentle handling. One of the lamps with a few very minor abrasions to the edges of the foot, not at all visually disruptive. The edges of the lamps with expected rubbing to the patina. This is possibly an assembled pair. The electrical fittings have been replaced at some point in the history of the pieces. The lamps are currently fitted with US plugs and have not been tested and are not guaranteed for electricity. The vellum shades and glass diffuser are not original and are in very good condition with minor surface dirt consistent with age and gentle use. Lots 73 and 74 are rare opportunities to acquire pairs of such an iconic model by Giacometti.
