Condition

Overall in very good condition. There is a minute pin-head size fleck, as well as a very small and shallow abrasion (both exceedingly minor), located on the outermost edges between two panels. Additionally, there are two conjoined pin-head size flecks to the rim interior (also exceedingly minor and only visible under magnification). The interior shows brown discolorations which appear to be inherent in the making, as well as light surface wear and scratching. Due to the opaque walls this does not transmit to the exterior and is only visible when inspecting the interior. A superb example of the rare agate technique displaying a complex decorative scheme with very elegant coloration. The coloration is slightly more subtle and nuanced than seen in the catalogue illustration.
