Condition

Overall in very good condition. The favrile glass Lily shades are a well-assembled harmonious set, displaying subtle variations in form and coloration. The shades are in excellent condition with no visible damage to the top aperture rims. One shade with a minute flake to the lower irregular edge, only visible under very close inspection. Some of the shades with light surface scratches and rubbing to the top interior from continued surface contact over time with the interior sockets. The exterior of the shades are beautifully iridized, and when viewed with reflected light display a strong range of brilliant jewel-tone hues. The gilt bronze base with traces of surface soiling to the recessed contours of the design, and with some scattered areas of minor surface discolorations and oxidation, consistent with age and gentle handling. The underside of the base with small circular felt glides. All of the white porcelain sockets appear original and undisturbed to the base. The black plastic base switch appears original and undisturbed, and is fully functional as a two-way switch. A beautiful example of this iconic Lily model displaying a well-balanced composition and strong set of Lily shades.
