Condition

Overall in very good condition. When viewed in person, the patina presents with a slightly darker hue, more of a warm, coppery brown than in the catalogue illustration. The bronze surfaces present with a few light surface scratches, minor surface dirt to the recessed areas and minor wear to the patina to the raised portions of the design consistent with age and gentle handling. A great example of a rare creation by Lalanne to appear at auction, which presents with a nice scale when viewed first hand.
