Condition

Overall in very good condition. The iridized glass tiles are in very good condition, showing no visible cracks or chips. The glass is brilliantly iridized, imparting the tiles with fully saturated luminous color and heightening the visual presence of the frame. The gilt surfaces with gentle surface wear and minor areas of rubbing and discolorations consistent with age and very gentle handling. The reverse with a few areas of minor discolorations and rubbing. The reverse appears to retain its original easel frame and sliding back plate. With clear glass cover, which has small edge chips and flecks to two opposing corners which are entirely concealed when the cover is installed. The frame presents beautifully in person with strong visual presence and color.
