Condition
Overall in very good condition. As expected with the Lava technique, the exterior surfaces are wonderfully irregular and tactile showing some occasional surface irregularities and open air bubbles, all inherent in the making and decorative technique. The vase interior and exterior are beautifully iridized, imparting the vase with strong luminous color and a range of brilliant hues. An exceptional example of Tiffany's rare Lava technique, displaying an irregular body with a dimpled contour, irregular drips, asymmetrical rim and strong coloration. This vase is accompanied by a custom-designed stoarge box from the Garden Museum Collection which will be available to the successful purchaser.
