cast as a recumbent hound, the head raised expectantly, the front paws outstretched, the lean body well-articulated, with the hind legs tucked along side and the long tail curled over its haunch, lacquered a deep yellow with fine pale brown lines defining the animal's hair, a white blaze on the chest,
