the single floating panel top set flush in a mitered, mortise-and-tenon frame of standard construction, supported underneath by two transverse stretchers, the frame edge neatly beaded and molded inward above the recessed waist and straight beaded apron with arcahistic fret-work brackets, continuing to four slender legs of square section with beading to the inside edge, terminating in angular scroll-carved block feet

There is a long, thin patch due to shrinkage to the top panel. The underside has been reinforced with a wooden frame. The openwork spandrels are possibly later added and secured by metal nails. There is general consolidation of joinery.
