each with a straight crestrail above a rectangular bowed splat comprising three sections, the upper and lower panels each with oval beaded apertures, the central panel of well-figured burlwood, the straight armrests continuing to the front posts, the seat frame supported on latticework aprons with vertical struts, the side aprons of similar design, the legs joined by stretchers and a footrest (4)
Condition
There has been consolidation to all of the joins and restoration to breaks to some of the arms and feet. There is a section missing to one front leg and as well as to the front and side rails of another chair where there may originally have been some sapwood.
