Condition

The cover with restoration to chips to both ends as well as a long vertical split. The brush handle with a stabilized long vertical split and restoration to the edges around the brush and the tip of the handle. A small chip to the lacquer comprising the face small attendant carrying books has been reattached. There is a loss to the lacquer forming the attendant's shoe. There are scattered nicks and wear consistent with use and age.
