the rectangular panel of Dali marble set within a huanghuali beaded-edge frame and shaped everted flanges, all supported on square-section legs flanked by cloud-form spandrels, the legs terminating in splayed feet, joined on the shorter side by openwork panels each carved with a single coiled chilong set between two stretchers 

Catalogue Note

Constructed in a similar manner to large scale examples, miniature tables were used in scholars' studios for desk display and as stands for precious objects. Two related examples were sold in our Hong Kong rooms, 6th April 2016, lot 107 and 14th April 2014, lot 3674.
