the deep rounded sides rising from a slightly tapered foot to a gently flaring rim, painted to the exterior with two dragons striding in pursuit of the 'flaming pearl', divided by phoenix in flight, reserved on a leafy floral ground, all below a band of 'Auspicious Emblems' and ruyi at the rim, the interior with a medallion enclosing five bats, the base with a six-character mark in underglaze blue

Condition
There are several restored chips to the rim, the largest measuring approx. 1.5 cm wide; one of the chips with a 1.7 cm long associated hairline crack. Some general wear to the surface and minor firing imperfections.
