the first with a rounded body and wide elliptical mouth, raised on three pointed feet, the second of octagonal flared form raised on four short feet, each with incised grass-script poem (2)

Condition

The tripod cup with a 3 cm vertical crack extending down from the lip. With scattered minor firing flaws including a glaze bubble burst to the right of the inscription, from the original firing. Wear to the feet. The octagonal cup with minor firing flaws and a small glaze gap to the interior. The exterior of the mouth rim with two minor flake chips, one of which has an associated faint 1 cm long scratch. The feet with wear.
