the deity with arms clasped around the raised right leg, wearing long robes open at the chest to reveal a simple necklace, the face with a meditative expression and the neatly combed hair falling in two knotted plaits around the shoulders, all raised on a furled lotus leaf with rolling waves beneath, the back impressed with a square Lin Xiaozong yin seal mark

Condition

All the fingers are intact, and there are scattered minor firing imperfections throughout including a concentration of glaze at the lower right edge of the base. The left side with a 7 cm long firing crack visible from the exterior, and the right side interior with a firing crack, only subtly visible for approximately 2 cm from the exterior. The glaze a rich, even ivory color.
