Collection of William D.B. Alexander (1858-1929), Cleveland, Ohio, and thence by descent.
Condition
The screens are in overall good condition. The jade with scattered minute nicks to edges. There is some loss and wear to the gilt, particularly along the edges. One of the painted landscapes has a long diagonal scratch as a well as two shorter horizontal scratches. Both with light scratches and wear as appropriate for age and use.
