the leaf-form vessel with finely rendered veins, borne on a curled stem forming the handle issuing attendant leaves and blossoms, the rim with a praying mantis detailed with bulbous eyes and blade-shaped grasping fore legs, the softly polished stone with icy white and some faint russet inclusions, wood stand (2)

Condition
In overall good condition. There are a few minor chips and nicks to the extremities, including a 0.3 cm shallow chip to the edge of one of leaves on the side, and a small polished chip to one of the peony petals. The stone with a fissure, as can be seen in the catalogue illustration. The wood stand with minor cracks and some small losses.
