the standing figure modeled with arms crossed at the chest, an ochre-glazed shawl wrapped around the shoulders above a mottled green and brown-glazed pleated robe, with a knotted ribbon hanging down the back, the head tilted slightly to the side with the hair arranged in a high chignon, wood stand (2)

Condition
The head of the figure has been reattached at the base of the neck and there is some associated over-paint to glaze loss in the area. There are other scattered areas of overpaint including to the back edge of the shawl. The back of the shawl also with an area where the glaze has worn away. The surface with general wear, crazing and abrasion of the glaze due to age. There is some dark speckling and glaze from over-firing.
