Description

the shallow rounded sides rising from three animal-mask feet to an incurved lip, carved around the exterior with lotus scrolls below a narrow band of applied floret studs, covered overall with a grayish-green glaze, pooling to a turquoise-green and suffused with a dense network of crackle, stopping unevenly at the center of the interior and base to reveal the dark-brown stoneware body

Condition
There is an approx. 14 cm wide V-shaped crack to the rim with an associated crack running vertically through the middle, measuring approx. 9 cm long. There are also several hairline cracks to the rim, the longest measuring approx. 7.5 cm long. There is a 2.2 cm wide old chip to one of the feet. Minor firing imperfections.
