comprising two miniature jars and covers and a circular box and cover, each carved through the glaze with a sprig of prunus, the exposed body appearing reddish-burnt biscuit against the crackled straw glazed ground, the interiors partly glazed, together with a crackle-glazed vase with an everted rim (7)

Condition

One jar has a small potting flaw to the base, and an approx. 4.5 cm faint firing crack around the base. The other jar with one minor potting flaw to the inner rim. The circular box with small frits to the outer rim and a small glaze flake. The cover with an approx. 0.7 cm short hairline crack to the inner rim. The vase with two small glaze gaps to the body. Some kiln adhesions to the foot and a tiny chip. Signs of wear around the rim. All four wares in overall good condition with expected general surface wear.
