Description

ink and colour on paper, depicting officials and attendants in a landscape, mounted in wood frames

Condition

As illustrated: both paintings have lights scratches and stains, in addition the painting on the left has a 20 x 20cm., tear and repair to the face of the figure on the far right; an 11cm., tear and repair to the right side of the same figures waist; seven small holes around the head of the figure on the far left; a 15cm., oval patch to the upper left side of the painting; and a small tear and repair to the centre upper edge of the painting; the painting on the right has five small holes to the lower left side; a 13 x 13cm., V-shaped tear and repair to the base of the pedestal; a 14cm., tear and repair to one of the figures at the upper right side; a 4cm., rectangular patch to the upper right side of the painting; an 11cm., tear and repair to the upper right side; and an 11cm., patch to the bottom right edge.
