the ewer with cylindrical body rising from a short spreading foot to an angled shoulder and tall cylindrical neck, set to one side with a strap handle and to the other with an angular spout, brightly enamelled around the exterior with rocks issuing floral sprays between diaper bands, the basin similarly decorated

Condition

The ewer and basin are in good condition with the exception of a tiny glaze flake to the tip of the spout of the ewer, light rubbing to the gilded decoration on the band at the shoulder of the ewer, and a circa 12cm., wide five-pronged hairline star crack to the underside of the basin, partially visible on the interior.
