the tureen enamelled to each side with pairs of crane amidst peony issuing from rockwork, all above a gilt and iron-red spearhead band, the stand similarly decorated and the domed cover with pairs of birds and surmounted by a pomegranate finial

Condition

The tureen and stand are in good condition with the exception of a glaze frit to both handles, the stand has a circa 12cm., section of over-painting to the top of the rim and circa 21cm., of overspray to the underside of the rim.
