Description

the rounded sides rising from a tapering foot to a straight rim, the exterior painted to each side with shaped cartouches depicting hunting scenes, flanked with two smaller panels of birds on branches on a diaper ground, the interior base with a central roundel of a hunter with two hounds, below a band of diaper and foliage at the rim

Condition

The bowl is in very good condition with the exception of minor rubbing to the gilded decoration and minor glaze scratches.
